or probably not—CHI is well underway and my website is still as plain as ever. It just comes down to the fact that I want to get it right, and so its going to be a little longer before its “live.”

The main thing I am doing between now and when I launch is simplifying the interaction even more than it currently is. I feel that a lot of navigation and information design on blogs is a little bit of over-kill. I’m trying to distill this all down, and then build out features using this first release as a base. Sometimes making something simple is much harder than making something complex, and this general rule of design coupled with the rule that “designing for yourself is really hard” is making this take longer than I estimated.
